Lil Kim is one of the artist I grew up listening to and still admire her still today. She has come a long way from the 90's from coming up under the Junior Mafia rap group she has made herself a staple in the hip hop community.
The Notorious B.I.G. was the star of the up and coming Bad Boys Record label and as the movement became real, Biggie, brought out a new female artist rapping about things girls just didn't rap about. Not only that, this little petite cutie was not a dope rapper, but can model her ass off. She called herself the Queen B. This is before Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and all these rappers that can't admit that they all got their courage and inspiration from the Queen B herself, LIL KIM. Well, Lil Kim is out with another single and let me tell you, this is not to be passed off as another song. She's really trying to get back in the spotlight and guess what? She's about to do it again with this new single. Its different from anything she's done before and anyone has done before. That's what I appreciate about Lil Kim and she was always able to push the limits of her artistry. She has no limitations when it comes to the sounds of rap and music. She has paved the way since 1995 giving you hit after hit with no signs of slowing down. I give you the audacious and legendary rap star Lil Kim!
