Casanova dropped a new song of his latest album, Behind the Scars. The song has a mellow feel to it with the drums hitting in the background. Gives you the feel of a 90's type of record. Sound like something a Tribe Called Quest would have put out back in the days. The horns set the tone of the entire record Casanova is lyrically taking to court. The lyrics to the song gives you the look inside what life brings you and what a person has to deal with on a day to day basis. He takes you down his side of things saying in the hook, I don't want to die broke, but I don't wanna rich, cause I'm passed all that. This is something hip hop needs to start playing more. The message Casanova is dropping, resonates with the average man. We don't want to deal with the drama, we just want to be able to live with dealing with the streets, quoting the Notorious B.I.G., saying the more money, more problems.
Giggs is a new artist that gets on the last verse and from hearing his voice, you can tell he's not from around here. The accent is cool for the beat he rhyming on.
